I have a Citroen C3 1.6 BlueHdi 100 from 2016. Over some time I have noticed that my car uses more and more oil.
I have checked for oil leaks but I could not find any. It is using about 6 lines on the oil dipstick after 10000 km. I have checked the intake to the turbo and there is a small puddle of oil on the bottom of the intake. It looks like this oil is coming from the PCV valve. Do someone have experience with this engine using oil and what have you done to fix this problem if possible?
I have already done a compression test through diagbox and it stated that the compression was fine. There is no other symptoms from the car other than a little bit of smoke from the exhaust when cold. I have bought this car used and the previous owner stated that he used 5W-30 oil. I just continued using this oil as he gave me around 10L of it with the car. I checked the Total oil guide and the recommended oil for my car is 0W-30. Could I change back to this oil or will it just worsen the problem?
I have monitored the clogging of the DPF and it seems that the filter is getting problems due to the fact that the oil is being burned. When I bought the car the clogging of the DPF was near 0%. Now even after a regen the clogging is around 30%. I have owned the car for around 40000 km. Overall the car has done 145000 km.
Also I am curios about what short term and long term regeneration capacity means in diagbox? I have attached a screenshot of the readings.
Is it normal that there is so much additive deposited in the DPF?¨
I have checked the pipe from the PCV valve and it seems that a rubber o-ring is missing. I do not know if this is by design but I have seen other 1.6 Hdi engines with this o-ring. Here is a picture of the pipe:

You and the previous owner have been using the incorrect oil Nikola ! This engine specifically states the engine oil as 0W30 that meets standard B71 2312, not 5W30.
0W30 means it flows very easily with little resistance (almost zero weight) when the engine is cold, but provides the viscosity of a 30W oil when the engine is at higher temperatures. An 0W30 oil makes sure the engine components are protected as soon as possible from when the engine is started up given how thin it is.
This is the oil pump solenoid valve (9). There are no separate seals shown though, which is not to say they are not there, but they are not sold separately.
But I'd certainly pass that oil to somebody who needs it and get an engine oil change using the correct oil.

Yes that's what I thought I just found out that I've been using the wrong oil the whole time. I'm suspecting the thicker oil would build higher crankcase pressure and maybe make it's way easier to through the PCV valve.
The pipe I've marked comes from the top of the rocker cover. I can take a better picture. It goes from the rocker cover to the intake line of the turbo. It's on the flywheel side of the engine opposite of the timing belt side.
Here is a picture of the pipe when the intake is assembled: On the first picture I posted it looks like some rubber o-ring is missing on the part going into the air intake pipe. The metal part is grooved like it is supposed to hold a rubber ring.
Do somebody know what the connector going to this pipe is for?

It looks like the pipe the part connects to is part of the whole Cylinder head cover:
Here is the gas re-suction pipe as they call it (10), attached to the Air Hose (9)
The replacement pipe (10) is part 9677815380 and is UK £69 inc. taxes

It looks like most of the oil in the turbo intake is coming from this re-suction pipe.

The PCV is designed to vent the crankcase gasses back into the air suction system and can be re-used in the engine for combustion. If the valve is not operating then oil can build up around the turbo, which can lead to carbon build up and loss of boost etc.

No I haven't. Though it seems to me that it is due to turbo slowly failing. The turbo fan seems to have a bit of play in the shaft and has begun whining more than normal under acceleration. I checked the intercooler and there was a lot of oil in it about 150 mL which I would suspect is because of the turbo.

Same engine, getting oil leaking out of the intercooler and low warning light. Topped up less 500ml 2000k miles ago and light on again. Wasnt an issue prior to the service the garage did. Supposedly they topped up with 0w30 castrol. Van only has 63k miles, 17 plate

I actually fixed it by changing the valve cover. I think the PCV valve was bad and the reason so much oil piled up at the turbo inlet.
Mine did not use that much oil. Have you checked the sump plug and oil filter if they are leaking? Once I had a garage do my oil change and somehow they used some kind of hard rubber washer and it leaked oil from the sump plug. Also check your exhaust for smoke from burning oil.

The wires that goes to the PCV pipe is not for an actuator, is is simply for a heating element inside the pipe.
