Hi all i hope your all well.
My exhaust temperature sensor seams to be always reading 149°C regardless if the car is stone cold or been driven 90 miles.
I've changed the sensor but it has made no difference at all to the readings.
My cars a 2011, 207 1.4 Hdi, with 96,000 on the clock.
Thanks
Exhaust temp sensor reading 149°C constantly

Re: Exhaust temp sensor reading 149°C constantly
Has the car been mapped at all ?
I had a similar experience after blanking the EGR and having it papped out,the Inlet Air Temp now sits at -40C....YIKES !,However,it appears that the map deliberately uses the lowest possible temperature available to keep the ECU happy. It does'nt effect the driving so ...fingers crossed !!
