Solenoid valve (turbo vaccum)

Post by Tasoulhs »

I had an error code p0234 on my citroen c4 1.6 hdi and i found that it was the solenoid valve which is located at the back of the engine.IF YOU HAVE ERROR CODE P0234 (OVERBOOST SITUATION) IT IS POSSIBLE THAT YOUR SOLENOID VALVE IS BROKEN.Here is a photograph of the solenoid valve 👇👇

The atmospheric port on the boost valve has a little foam filter, and if that is restricted, the valve can't dump vacuum fast enough, and that can trigger an overboost error.
