1.6 hdi coolant temperature fluctuating

Hello guys. I have absolutely the same problem with my Peugeot Traveller 2.0 bluehdi 42k miles. Also changed the thermostat housing and checked everything. Currently don't have clue. From the dealership said "that they are not concerned about this" For me have two possibilities. First is software problem that rule and command the housing. The second one is something wrong with the additional heater in my case webasto. I am still investigating.

The picture attached is after 40 minutes driving. Compared what see the ECU and the dashboard. Big difference isn't it.

Did anyone find a solution to this? I'm also having the same problem with my Citroën Dispatch 1.6.

The garage replaced the thermostat but still an ongoing issue. They've run so many checks but haven't been able to figure out what's wrong.

I'm tempted myself to say it's a battery/ECU problem, but can't find any information on anyone who's actually fixed this problem effectively.

Coolant cap ? The o ring inside the cap distorted this can make the cap not tighten properly have this been investigated?

Mines the thermostat it's not fully opening or closing so im getting another unit .
