Citroen C5X7 2.0 HDI - OBD connection problem + cut wires

Post by marian6666 »

Hello,
I have a problem with comunication by OBD, only system I can connect to is suspension (but I think its done by K-line) rest of the systems are in "no dialogue" state. I tried Diagbox 7.02, 7.57, 8.55, 9.92, Lexia but no luck.. "Hidden" fuse behid steering column is OK, Pin 16 is powered on ignition, voltage between ground and CAN lines is around 2,5V, only one theres no way through is ground <->pin7 (don't know it should be present or not).
Do you have any idea what to check next?

2nd thing is, that during the fuse check I found cuted cables near the fuses box (you can see it when upper feet cover is off) - does somebody know were they should be connected to? Might it be the reason for communiation problems?

The 4 thinner wires are spare repair wires found on many Citroen models, totally normal & the other ends of them can be found underneath the under bonnet fusebox.
Not sure about the thicker Blue one though.
Do you have earth at pins 4 & 5 of the OBD socket?

Hi,
I tried my friend's interface and everything worked well, so it seems that my cable is broken.. Thank you for help!
Nice to hear that cut wires are factory made:P
