New Citroen Relay missing bits
My brand new Citroen Relay has been stripped of bits before I got it. Bloody bean counters LOL. Can anyone help me with the part numbers for the rear 12v outlet that sits by the rear doors and the 2nd 12v outlet that sits in the dash next to the main one?
I have installed the 15A fuses and the wires now have 12v so I just need the sockets. Dealer is bone idle and says they weren't there at the factory so I am not allowed to buy them. Cheers.

Re: New Citroen Relay missing bits
The front & rear are the same but there are a few choices depending on build date.

Thanks for that, perfect. The van is brand new, 4 months delivery time and it has less kit on it than the 7 year old one LOL.
1 & 2 could be really useful if they are not silly money. Can you post a pic with their part numbers showing? Thanks again.

Re: New Citroen Relay missing bits
My brother just had the same experience with Honda. They wanted to sell him a new CR-V, £8k for something with far less useful bits on it.LittleOldSuzi wrote: ↑07 Oct 2021, 05:58 Thanks for that, perfect. They attract you with the shiny bits, then take them out and up the price.

Re: New Citroen Relay missing bits
Well, that is unhelpful from Citroen. That part (16 821 810 80) is not yet commercialised and it could be months so I can't buy it. Let's hope the only 12v socket they did fit to the van doesn't break.
Out of interest the lad that checked insists the build data for my van says it has a socket by the back door but it is missing on my van. Are they so short of parts they are missing bits off to get the vans out the door? Can someone double check if I PM them my VIN?

Just post the VIN in this thread - it will be obfuscated by the forum software and only staff can read it.

Re: New Citroen Relay missing bits
16 827...... may not be available, but 8227.A1 is.
It is the same part, and the original/main pt.no.
The cigar lighters (power sockets) are likely to be pretty generic items, so you'd be able to find plenty on the web.
An alternative is to fit a USB socket, if you don't need all the power of the cig sockets. Round panel-mounting USB sockets are available, with twin outlets.

Re: New Citroen Relay missing bits
I want to just plug it in rather than splice wires etc. I am not sure if 8227 A1 will fit or I would just order it up. The reason I say that is the 2014 van that this new one replaces has different plugs on the loom for the 12v outlets. I know they facelifted the Relay van in 2015 and then a bit update a couple of years after that saw the Ford Puma engine swapped out for the PSA engine. At what point the wiring was changed I have no idea but it has been changed at some point. Does anyone know? Thanks again...white exec wrote: ↑08 Oct 2021, 17:47 16 827...... may not be available, but 8227.A1 is.

Re: New Citroen Relay missing bits
The VIN number should allow a precise check to be run.
The short (6-digit) pt.nos. are the 'original' current ones (but may/may not be still available on older vehicles).
The longer pt.nos. are alternatives, which PSA offer at usually significantly lower cost. These may be available as an alternative to the short code, or are a replacement for it. In some cases, the part is of different origin (manufacturer), but will be compatible. (Note: PSA are heavily into "aftermarket" parts supply, with their parent company, Stellantis, actually owning, for example, Mister Auto. This site, like others, recognises original and alternative PSA part numbers.)
If the original part is no longer in production, it will appear as NFP (no further production) in the latest PSA Parts listings. If NFP doesn't appear, the part should be available. This could mean 'available at factory' (usually France), even though there might be no stock locally (or in the country where you are enquiring). Any PSA dealer will able to place a factory order on an available part, and if they refuse it may be just out of laziness, or over-concern for their margins. Main dealers will be ordering factory parts all the time, in order to complete repairs, so the odd small part included in these orders will not present a problem. For ordered-in parts, do not expect a discount. Small franchises or sub-dealers may not be so willing to order in.

Re: New Citroen Relay missing bits
In theory if it's listed in the highlighted column then it should be fitted to the vehicle. Its not always 100% gospel though & there can be mistakes in it.
This is based on your VIN.

Re: New Citroen Relay missing bits
Thanks Wheeler, I am going to try Fiat tomorrow and see if they can supply the 12v outlet of the Ducato which will be the same part. As well as the 12v outlet (8) by the back door being missing the cigar lighter (3, 4 & 5) is also missing. I am pretty sure they are desperately short of parts and missing none essential bits off. Ah well, I will source them somehow...

Re: New Citroen Relay missing bits
Before you look to buy the bits it might be a good idea to check the wiring is there. It SHOULD be, but you never know!
