3 Leafs - it is Autumn so no surprise.
Wasn't looking, just spotted them randomly, there were probably lots more and other marques too.
Failed to look for 71 plates either, completely forgot about them.
At least I remembered the shopping and the petrol.

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

That's ugly Mick.
Man is, by nature, a lazy beast, he does not need twice encouraging to do nothing.

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
Have to agree there Gibbo, bonnet is too long and the roof is too low. Put that right and you'd have a regular SUV!! Oh. Why would you want to do that? I'm guessing they were trying to go for estate car buyers and SUV buyers, but I'm surprised they managed to land either!!

Favourite Colours for Cars material....not for me. If I had scraped enough together to get a new electric car, I think I would have gone for something less dull

Black Tesla and a Mercedes - proper car-shaped, not a panzerwagen.

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
Been in New Lanark a couple of times recently on the bike [For those that don't know, New Lanark is the former mill built down on the river Clyde, and is touted as a 'model' factory of the 18th / 19th century and Robert Owen is much lauded - but ultimately he still got very rich lording it over the serfs! https://www.newlanark.org/ ]
They have got themselves a couple of electric busses to transport visitors from the carpark down to the village, and I've seen both, one on the move and one plugged in:
Sorry, terrible pic, only one I could find on FBook!
The one at the back appears to be a Mellor Orion E (https://www.mellorbus.com/vehicles/orion-e/) UK company, but don't know if it's UK built, front end looks like the Relay / Ducato / Boxer.
The one at the front looks like an LDV EV80 https://myldv.co.uk/ev80/ built in China by SAIC I think.
The Clyde is a good source of Hydropower - I posted previously the intake pipes for the Bonnington power station which is an 11MW unit, and the first commercial hydro station in the UK, there is also another 6MW unit just downstream at Stonebyers (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lanark_Hy ... ric_Scheme), and New Lanark themselves have a 500HP turbine.

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
Spotted one of these on the TV today, but also a black e-NV200 at close quarters the other day.
Nice little series of programmes Chris and Meg's Wild Summer, covering so far Pembrokeshire/Snowdonia/North East Coast and the Lake District
This is heading towards Holy Island over the Causeway. Strangely many people choose to wreck their car rather than being stranded on the island for a few hours as they try to beat the tide rushing in having left it a bit late to cross and end up in the refuge box.

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
Back in May this year I spotted this Renault Fluence in a Car Parki in the Scottish Borders.
Today I saw it again, in the same place, 4 months later and looks to me as if it has never moved....unless..its a free car park and that is where the owner keeps it. Yes it woould appear that the "never moved" assumption is correct.
Now that EV its 8 years old, will definitely have had, or still has a battery lease arrangement should still have a bit of life left in it, but I am guessing its a scrap value car.
Standing for four months will not have done an ailing traction battery any good.
Quite a car within the pioneers of the early days of Li-ion BEV's. None of the quirkiness of shape of the classic leaf, or the smaller early Zoe's. Proper car looking EV, but never a success although the model survives in the far east.
Also spotted a Grey Tesla Model X amongst others.
