Hi all.
I have crossed one of the threads on the rear hub whilst changing one of my rear wheels and as such will have to replace the hub.
I'm confident in doing this myself with the assistance of my neighbour who is a competent home mechanic and has the necessary tools IE bearing puller and torque wrench.
2 questions the first one what size is the retaining nut, and secondly, I know my car has ABS, But how can I find out if it has eps (as far as I know it doesn't) as I want to purchase the correct hub.
Has anybody done this and is it a do able job. Any tips and advice would be greatly welcomed.
Thanks in advance. John B
Ps it's a 2007 1.6hdi

retap thread , quicker ,cheap and could work, nothing to lose if it doesnt, tap is going to cost about £5 ISH ON FLEA BAY .
Re: XSARA PICASSO REAR HUB
Do you mean ESP? If so on the Xsara picasso there will be a button on the dash (to switch it off) that has ESP on it.
If i remember right its in this position if fitted.
