Rear Window C4 Grand Picasso Exclusive

Hi, I've recently bought my first Citroen , a 2014 C4 grand Picasso Exclusive. I inadvertently pressed the second button on the boot . Nothing happened as I believe the window had not been opened in a long time and may be stuck closed. The problem is that the key fob now won't lock the doors as it did previously . ie the door mirrors don't move /retract . I'm afraid to try force the glass open in case it smashes , I also can't see any hinges or struts specifically for the window. When I now press the tailgate window release button, I can hear the locks actuating in the other doors. There's no notification on the dash to say that the rear window or door is open .
Occasionally the rear wiper also operates when I try lock the doors from the fob . I can't find any info regarding the operation of the tailgate window in the manual ,

I took the car to a Citroen main dealer , he said he hadn't seen a grand picasso with the second button the boot before , and he said my back windscreen was bonded so wouldnt open. They said they'd need to plug in the car to their system and it would cost €95 plus vat.
Long story short , I removed some gear I had in the boot and discovered that the spare key fob was hiding underneath , I must have placed it there while loading stuff. When I removed the spare key fob the locking system started working again perfectly. So all in all the Citroen Idiotproof design was preventing me from locking the key in the boot

I had the un-grand Picasso and on that there was an extra button (square) towards the RH side that locked the car, is that what you are confused about?

Yet that's it , there's nothing in the manual about it , I'd read on line , that it was for opening the rear glass unit , rather than opening the full boot door . But my back window doesn't move when the square button on the right is ppressed so I've no idea what it does

Isn't that a blanking plug for where the camera goes on vehicles with a reversing camera?

According to the manual that far right button is the unlocking / locking button.

Ok, I think I've got it. This model has 2 options - one, the button in the middle of the 2 number plate lights is for unlocking the electric tailgate / electronic lock.
The far right button is for versions fitted with the motorised tailgate. The far right button unlocks and raises or lowers and locks the tailgate.

Which you have depends on trim level, so if it does nothing, then assume you don't have a motorised tailgate.

hi no i have a 2017 with camera and motorised boot and also have that button on the right and it dont do anything so i think its a blank
