I'm not sure what you mean by 'tapped'?

Are you sure you are talking about the SCR Adblue tank and not the Diesel Particle Filter Additive tank? Eolys additive comes in bags or just a reservoir tank that you fill. Adblue (UREA) does not come in bags, which is why I am confused by what you have written - it seems you are mixing up the 2 systems which are separate.

It is the additive counter for the Diesel additive (Eolys) that has to be reset to zero.
So I'm not sure what you trying to do.

If you have replaced the Adblue tank, then I'd advise you to have it properly setup with the dealer. I can't see how you can be connected to PSA servers without a technician's account, unless you have purchased tokens for a time-limited access. If you have, then your clone interface / software may not be authorised, the wrong version or you are unsure of how to properly calibrate and install the tank and configure the software.

Thank you for your answer.

My C4 have not Adblue tank, onlly tank for urea, without bag. I fill tank with 1 lit. of urea.
Yes, I purchased token from Citroen.
Tank with pump is produced by Paddgo Inergy, and pump inside old one tank is out of order.
In meny I select 0.96l of urea and programm it , but reading status of tank Diagbog show that tank is empty.
Tank is autoconfigured by Citroen server.
There is menu cofiguration for Urea additive also in ECU submenu.

As last solution I will contact dealer.
Sorry for my bad English.

Ok, so you would seem to be confused with the 2 systems:

1) Adblue is UREA. Adblue / UREA is used for the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system. This is only for vehicles fitted with an SCR system. The SCR system (if fitted) treats the NOx by injecting Adblue / UREA into the catalytic converter which is before the Diesel Particulate Filter. There is a supply line from the Adblue Tank that has an injector on the outside of the catalytic converter of the exhaust system, that physically injects the adblue.

2) Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF / FAP). This is a Separate system and uses EOLYS (Not Adblue or UREA). This is where you are getting confused. The DPF traps the particulate matter in the filter. When the filter starts getting full, the engine ECU starts a regeneration operation to burn off the particles into ash. The additive is stored in the additive tank that will contain either a pouch or will be hard reservoir that is filled with Eolys from a bottle. The Eolys is injected into the fuel tank by the engine ECU or additive ECU every time you fill up with petrol. This helps the particle filter with assisted regeneration.

Some vehicles have both systems fitted, some earlier vehicles may only have the DPF system fitted. But if you have a 2015 Diesel Picasso vehicle, then it will have both the SCR and the DPF system fitted. Each have different requirements - Adblue for the SCR tank and Eolys for the DPF additive tank.

If you post up your VIN, I can see which system you have and confirm this for you.

So if you are talking about the Diesel additive (Eolys / Powerflex / Extend) for the particle filter and you have added 1 litre to the additive tank, then you should reset the additive counter to ZERO. You don't put the amount of additive you have added.

Please confirm that you have put Eolys in to the DPF tank and not Adblue/urea. This is very important.

I put Eolys in the DPF tank! I have not Adblue tank.

Ok so your vehicle was built in Feb 2015 and is a Euro 5 and has DPF only, so NO SCR system.

That is why we were confused as you were talking about UREA

Now if you have replaced the additive tank with a new one, then you should refill it with 3 litres of additive.

You only use 1lt kits for topping up during mid-life.

The fuel circuit has to be primed and you reset the additive ECU to zero.

What you are doing above looks like you are initialising the additive ECU. This is not where you reset the additive counter.

You need to locate the function (usually in the engine ECU menu - or in the additive ECU menu) and choose the option to reset the fuel additive counter, then prime the fuel circuit using the engine ECU menu.

Not sure if your aware or not but there is an outstanding recall campaign on this vehicle. I'd contact your local dealer.

I lost whole day trying to reset the additive ECU to zero or to set additive level in the tank.
There are more menus and submenus related to additive. ECU menu, additive multiplexed pump menu and urea tank menu.
Confusion, why three or more settings in one car with one tank? PSA speciality. I have four Citroen cars, C4 B78 , C5 MK1 , MK2 and C6.
All the problems in those cars are related to DPF - additives and car windows, from C5 MK1 to C4.
I will contact my local dealer and post the results on the forum.
Thanks.

You have to remember that there may be 'Repair' or 'maintenance' options for the UREA system as these were fitted on some models from 2013 - so that is why they are there, even though you may not have the system on the car.

Of course, after you run a Global Test, you will only see the actual ECUs on the car that are fitted or that the diagnostic tool can communicate with. If you are going direct to the repair menu, you may see operations designed for equipment you don't have - because that engine ECU may also be fitted to vehicles that do have that extra equipment. Also you have to remember that official technicians have training on these tools and how to use them, which are not officially released to the general public....
