Air con hose...

Post by Romtag »

I need the part number for the air con hoses for the 308.

It has a gaping hole it in from where the engine mounting bolt came loose and rubbed into it at some point in the past 😬

This fecking car 🤬🤬🤬

Before you look to replace that pipe you might want to see how convoluted the route is. My first C5 had a failed pipe, and the only way to have replaced it would have been to take the engine out first! It also would not have been possible to repair it in situ, as there was too much in the way.

I hear what you are saying but the mechanic I use says it's about an hour's labour but I have to supply the part.

I cant believe the engine mount bolt was loose. I dread to think what would have happened if it had gone whilst I was driving.

The mechanic I use now has gone over everything and has ensured everything is safe. Just the air con to fix. 😔

Looks like its number 1 in the pic? Comes as a pair. Part no: 6477Q1 and is £157.68 + VAT.
It is a superseded part so it may have some modification compared to the original.

Thanks wheeler, you are a star. Between you and Marc I think FcF has saved me loads of hassle and expense. Thank you!
