It is indeed Neil, well done, it is next to The Crown Northill where I had my lunch and a pint of Green King IPA, and very nice it was too!! :)

loving that! If ever there was a box ticking exercise over cycle lane provision this must have been an expensive one.

A few stops off and scenery shots for the thread would be nice Richard as you head for your 3,000 :-D

Every so often I will give the on-line bicycle museum a name check and link just in case some bicycle enthusiasts aren't aware of it. It really is a tremendous resource.

On the recent discussion on one of the electric vehicles threads of the "lady on the scooter" the online bicycle museum really has the chapter and verse on the Autoped and the Everready version which was most likely the one in the photograph (still with a spark plug and a cylinder though as the caption on the photo is wrong as you pointed out Richard.)

Here's last night's ride

This is probably my favourite local loop - long and hard enough to be a decent work out without taking over everything, and mostly on quiet roads! But mostly because between the blue and red circles above, a distance of about 2 miles, you go from:

Farm land adjacent to the Clyde
covington.jpg
to the heather moor of the side of Tinto!!

Going out everyday is definitely improving my fitness, averaged over 26 km/h last night despite there being a fairly strong WNW blowing which slowed up some of the legs.

Excellent Richard, the rural tarmac seems pretty smooth, pothole and rut free on the pics.
There have been improvements round here of late, on those type of roads.

We all hope CitroJim is doing well .... I'm into the 1,000 miles on my old Huffy as well Richard and I've started a series of Strava challenges for June including this Everest challenge and a 100km in one ride which is a little daunting for me and the Huffy

Anyone else taking up the challenges :?: There seems to be people on the leader-boards that don't sleep or is there a way of 'cheating' ......

Apologies for the quietness of late, been a bit all over the place, not getting out on the bike anywhere near enough!
Quick snap of Pinkichu couple of weeks back at the bottom of one of my new found trails! (to the left of the bike up behind the tree...)
