I went for a quick recce to Slip End today to find the Subaru dealer who I am going to talk to tomorrow. It didn't occur to me to take a pic at the time so here is an internet sourced shot of the car I saw on the forecourt, resplendant with its factory fit gold wheels:

Looks like the Red on the Suzuki wheels may be an official Suzuki set of Decals. £163.42 for a set.

too much of an information trail on that one Gibbo :-D

Gilbern cars first car available initially with a Austin Healey Sprite 948 cc engine with an optional Shorrocks supercharger or Coventry Climax 1098 cc engine. The chassis was fabricated steel tubing with front suspension derived from an Austin A 35. The body was usually supplied in kit form but fully trimmed and painted and from a single moulding. Later versions employed BMC B series engines of both 1489,1558 and 1622 cc in MGA trim and later still this MGB 1798 cc unit with coil sprung BMC rear axle and the derivation of Gilbern 1800 GT

Not a Jaguar of any sort Mick :?: Theres not much characteristic to go on, other than those wheel fastenings. Somewhere back in the FCF threads I think there was a story told of the originator of those wheel fastenings.

British Cars with Wire Wheels...like I say not much to go one
Is it one of the 3 obvious?
Austin Healey
MG
Triumph

Seems a bit chatty for an Aston Martin to have dullish red wire wheels
