If your car does not have the wiring and connectors fitted under the seats, you need for find a 12V switched supply point of suitable rating and wire them from there.

Re: Fitting electric leather into a Xantia.
Thanks for your contribution - I am guessing my "non sx" HDI wont have the wiring or connections for the Electric seats from the donor HDIsx model and I have been perusing the forums here and CitroJim has offered some very helpful advice (as others have) on the switch over - need to get a 12V power supply to the seat locations - fused from cigarette lighter which is not a problem. I note the seats can be a little fiddly to extract and refit but dont see any major issues. I haven't purchased the donor car yet - still in the negotiation stage. I want it as a spares car - lots of bits and pieces and in particular the alloy wheels and the leather interior (electric) which is in very good condition, no damage, rips or tears and it will restore quite well IMO. My 2001 Xantia is a project car - 120,000 miles done with a good service history, and I am hoping to put it back in service in the summer - plan to use it as my daily driver.. had a few Xantia's before and always liked them
