My Mum found a refreshing concoction; Roses Lime Cordial with a dash of Elderflower Cordial. It has to be Roses, as shop own brand Lime Cordial has a load of sweetener (as most people don't seem to like sharp drinks any more).

I used to like something similar. A glass of Vodka with a dash of Roses lime juice in it.

Also Rose's lime marmalade but either that got far too sweet or I went of sweet things.

Well I have to say James, your mother has excellent taste as do you Steve! On the exceedingly rare occasion that I run out of Doom Bar I turn to my second favourite drink which is either a pint of Roses Lime or if I want a shorter drink I have two other choices:
Own work
Own work
Amazing what can be achieved with the above ingredients and an ice bucket!! :-D

Mum won't go for the Vodka, but she WILL go for the Gordons' Gin (and Fever Tree Tonic Water with quinine).

As Mum lives on a narrow boat (without a freezer) she will have to forgo the ice.

Just gentle attempt to wrestle the topic back on topic but with acknowledgement to the off-topic theme

We've all seen the exterior of the Outspan Orange but what's it like inside

If you wear blue tinted sunglasses (and look through the orange windows) you will experience (to a minor degree) what 617 Squadron saw when they were training for their most famous mission. They did this to improve their night flying skills.

:rofl2: I think I should post the interior and dashboard of a Lancaster James to help Neil get this thread back on topic. I was as guilty as anyone for drifting away from interiors but I'm going to blame SWMBO for buying the plaque in the first place!! :-D

I have a litre bottle of Grey Goose here that I am too mean to open.
Much to my son's disgust I have descended to Aldi's Tamova. Currently in my favourite tipple - Lidl tomato juice.

Oh! the shame :( I usually plump for the French Grain Vodka at wallet-straining prices.

Speaking of Fiat though, the Coupe is one of my favourites because of the big slab of body colour on the dash. Works especially well if it's a black interior and a bright exterior colour (yellow being my preference...).
A car I'd really like actually...
Blue one at Anglia Car Auctions this weekend no reserve...have to edit in what it went for
