not wanting to abuse but while i took the front of my car for a little crash i saw this disconnected tube is normal?

It looks like a drain tube for maybe the fuel filter to allow water to be drained from it ?

Yes, I also think! but as it has the motor protection (plastic) underneath I found it strange to drain it over it

It's more likely to be the Air Conditioning drain pipe. It is normal to be left loose so the water can drain out. That's why you can sometimes see a pool of water under the car on a hot day when the AC has been on.

one last question I just need to remove the center console as shown in the picture ... do you think you can help me again? it's so stuck and I need to let it go for the tablie to come out #-o

C5 X7 Centre Console Removal (Manual Gear Box)

Move the front seats as far back as possible.

Unclip the gear lever gaiter ( 1) ( as "a" ) using trim removal tools.
Disengage the gear lever (1) gaiter .
Remove:
  • The audio system
  • The air conditioning control ( automatic).
Unclip: The glove box (2) ( as "b" ) using trim removal tools.
Remove the glove box (2).

Unclip: The handbrake gaiter (3) ( as "c" ) using trim removal tools.
Remove: The handbrake gaiter (3) (At "d" ).
Unclip: The facia of the central console (4) ( as "e" ) using trim removal tools.
Detach: The facia of the central console (4).

Disconnect the connector ( as "f" ).
Remove: The facia of the central console (4).
Remove the bolts (6) (Central console (5) ).

Slide the front seats as forward as possible.
Electric seats:
  • Reconnect the battery
  • Slide the front seats as forward as possible
  • Disconnect the battery
Unclip the blank ( 7) (Central console (5) ) ( as "g" ) using trim removal tools. (Symmetrical operation ).
Remove the blanking piece (7) (Central console (5) ) (Symmetrical operation ).
Remove bolts (8) (Central console (5) ) (Symmetrical operation ).

Unclip: The stiffener (9) (Central console (/) ) ( as "h" ) using trim removal tools.
Remove the stiffener (9) (Central console (/) ).
Open the central armrest.
Unclip the diagnostic socket ( as "l" ).
Detach:
  • The diagnostic socket through the central console (5)
  • The centre console (5) (Towards "j" then "k" )
Disconnect the 12 V socket connector ( as "m" ).
Remove the central console (5).

Refitting

Proceed in the reverse order to removal.
Tighten:
The bolts (6), (14) to 0,4 ± 0,25 daN.m
The bolts (8), (16) to 0,5 ± 0,25 daN.m

collision and airbags deployed

good afternoon everyone, thanks a lot for the help ... i have a citroen c5 x7 1.6hdi 2008 i had a little crash and the airbags (knee, dashboard and steering wheel) were activated ... so i started to replace everything that broke ... a my question is do i have to replace the front airbag sensor? where is it located? another question is before inserting the new airbags and replacing the airbag module do I have any procedure to do? accept tips and advice thank you good week everyone

I have merged your post with the existing topic, so as not to duplicate answers.

I think I already mentioned that you must replace the Airbag control module after any triggering of the safety systems. It is located in the central console.

It is shown as item (6) in the third picture of my post here:

Obviously you must have the battery disconnected and wait for 5 minutes or so before removing.

There is no coding needed for the new one, as long as there are no issues once everything is connected back up. Remember you will need new seatbelt pre-tensioner units too most likely.

yes I understand ... can you tell me has a collision sensor and where is it or if this model works only with the module?
