Do you mean change the camshaft belt?

Yes, I thought so.

I think you will need to post your VIN so that someone can look this up for you. The forum software will mask the VIN so that only staff can read it.

Israel is classified as 'Arduous' under the operating conditions for things like servicing operations, which means the timing belt on this engine should have been changed at 180k KMs or 10 years. So I wouldn't wait.

There not hard to do on a Picasso due to the engine bay being huuuuugggggeeeee (most of it being hidden). The way I've done it (only once mind) jack engine, slip the engine mount off the engine and body (wish I'd have known to begin with) slip wheel off, remove wheel arch, slip cover screws/bolts, take out sensor, unless you are suuuupppeer careful, turn engine to the, find drill bits the size of holes and lock her up, slip tensioner, take old belt off, clean any gunk away, fit new belt (swear a little as you put it in the wrong position, proceed to camera on phone and look at the picture you took at beginning) replace the tensioner with a new one even if your not doing the waterpump, refit everything you took off, then pull the lock pins (drill bits in backwards) refit rest of stuff removed. Copperslip all the nuts screws after you clean them up if you intend to keep the car for long
