2021 Updated PSA Engine Oil Guide

Post by GiveMeABreak »

The 'PSA Recommended Engine Oil' guide that I put up on the Forum Wiki many years ago needed updating to account for the latest engines.

This guide also includes Yunnei, Toyota, Mitsubishi, FIAT, PUMA & SOFIM engines used on some PSA vehicles.
The guide is far more comprehensive and details each of the specific countries that PSA class as [Temperate / Cold], [Arduous] & [Very Arduous] to further help determine the correct oil to use.

I won't be placing this on the Wiki as this guide took several days on and off to code up for the Forum.

It is in the Resources section of the Forum for current donors:

Update:
The guide is available in the Citroen, DS & Peugeot Technical Forums as a sticky, available to all.

Phew, that's comprehensive.
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

I knew that Australian conditions were "Arduous" - I now know we rate as "Very Arduous" !

Thanks for posting.

No worries, I've put in the the restricted resources section with some other guides as and when I can do these - just to give a little something back to donating members.

I've decided to make this later guide available to all as it's of such importance, especially with the impact the oil type can have on later vehicles. It's therefore been replicated to the Citroen, DS & Peugeot Technical Forums as a read only 'Sticky' and requires no membership upgrade to view.
