Jonny 3 I believe is on a bridge over the Trent and Mersey Canal at Fradley with a nursery behind him and the Fradley Pool to his left!! :-D
You have nailed the hard one Jonny 3 Mick.
The Fradley junction (Jonny 3) looks an interesting place to stop off at :-D

But for the medium/easy one the junction of the roads is not right. (The A51 bit).

This is the pub at the junction, name removed but not the Wolseley Arms.

I've only got the phone now so this is my last try for tonight. Is Jonny 2 by The Olde Peculier?

Not the olde Peculiar Mick. The A513 is plain to see signposted Tamworth and National Memorial Arboretum.

I found it difficult de blurring the other town names or number of the other road it meets at a t-junction.

The road it meets, I can tell you that 3 are Staffordshire towns, and one is in a neighbouring County on the two green road signs.

Thanks for the joining in Mick, I'm sure you will be able to apply the coup de grace now.

Then I will go for the last option from last night's investigations which was The Royal Oak on the corner of Manor Road and Lichfield Road? :)

It certainly needs it Peter ;) The clock appeared to be several hours fast or not working... At least the sundial above the church door was :D And accurate too!

Dont forget the Quiz. Clue with every guess.

So for Peter's effort....It was obviously taken on Jim's bike ride which if his little strava stats are to go by totalled 30.2 miles. I know it is within a 15 mile circle drawn around Newport Pagnell.

Not a guess here Neil but....I've spent a fair bit of time on DDG hunting for the clock, the sundial and the lampost with no success at all. Obviously I can't go for a google search or use streetview so I just wondered which item was your main clue? :-D

I certainly found it pretty difficult to frame a query to come up with the answer. I thought it would be easy.
It was the church itself, and just looking at a lot of images. I reckoned it would be either Bedfordshire or Buckinghamshire. To save you the pain it's not Bedfordshire even though there is a flickr group with over a 1000 images of Bedfordshire churches.

Had a flick through this http://cuckoofaircards.co.uk/chilterns.html no help though... they have a series for Hertfordshire too!

I summoned up Geograph, and gradually expanded outwards from Newport Pagnell. Each 1 km square has a series of images and in the browser you can put in Newport Pagnell within 3 miles and church.

Not sure if that produced the answer or not. From Jim's activity there are a few villages he regularly posts about...
...again the 3 mile limit and churches may do it....I'll check and see.

I also put in wooden sundial queries. The biggest clue should have been the thatched what do you call them Lydgate or something at the entrance to the church where on another thread picture Jim leans his bike.. It says Silver Jubilee 1977. Wasn't much help.

I think in the end one of the many came up with an image of the church.

Keep going but don't get too stuck, I'll give more assistance if needed

Yes Mick Geograph is your friend on the browser page. I think there has been some works since the image I found there was taken.

I am NOT going to enter, as I KNOW where the picture was taken (via the magic of social media (and I am NOT giving any clues either!)).
