Bit of a fix,
Battery's dead. Can't charge battery due to access.
How do i lock DS rear door without electrics?
How do i open/lock boot?
Surely there is a manual way?

Re: Xsara - locks
Im confused, is it a Xsara or a DS?
If its a mk1 Xsara there is a lock barrel on both front doors, the rears lock by flicking the lock buttons on the inside. If its a mk2 Xsara is the same apart from the tailgate, the tailgate lock operation is all electrical so if there is no power it wont work anyway.
Yoy mention DS in your post so not sure if this is what your on about?

Ahh, cant see vehicle profiles when viewing on phone.
Same applies to bootlid, its electrically operated so wont open from outside if no power, to open it manually from the inside there is a little hole to the top left of the catch where you can insert a small screwdriver & flick it open.
As for the rear doors, cant remember if the Picasso has this but most models have an emergency locking feature on the rear doors. This is for a C4.
