French car parts suppliers

Post by Kenmac15 »

I had a look on the search engine on here but couldn't find anything, so sorry if this has been asked 1000's of times.

Are there any PSA parts suppliers that on deal in just French car parts as opposed to ECP & GSF etc, as with my SAAB we have parts suppliers that only deal in SAAB parts & I like to only deal with firms like this as their knowledge is immense & you know the part they flog you will be right every time.

cheers
Ken

Very doubtful these days, apart from niche specialised parts suppliers, as it's just not economical to focus on a few brands and keeping large stocks now is tying up cash when parts can be ordered on demand and shipped within a day or so - and some on the same day.

ECP sell rubbish IMO and they'll sell it to anyone who will buy it. They do not have a good reputation with many here.

We can provide you with live official PSA part numbers / prices here for a small Forum donation of £10 that will cover you for up to 2 years of requests and parts diagrams.

Then you can at least use those to search on the aftermarket for the right part. If that's of interest details below:
A response to your question by a Forum Admin will require detailed vehicle information that requires you to have made a current contribution to the Forum.

Mister-Auto carry a surprisingly large range of French car spares, and are a division of PSA. Good choice of brands, and compatibility referencing.

For NFP items for older Citroen/Peugeot vehicles, worth a look at PSA's heritage site
www.pieces-de-rechange-classic.com
which will accept original part numbers.

I've had a couple of dealings with Micks Garage. They seem pretty good.
https://www.micksgarage.com/c/car-parts

And then there's Peugeot Parts Direct who are actually Peugeot dealers but a lot more accessible although I haven't ordered anything off them.

Do NOT get Eurocarcare.net mixed up with Euro Car Parts (who are more commonly known as Euro Crap Parts)!
