While I was researching Little Feat, autosuggest came up with this group. Don't blame me - it was the machine wot made me do it.

Little Mix - Sweet Melody

I had no idea what these sounded like so I took the first suggestion. Linkin Park - Faint

I heard so many negative comments about them that I passed them by.
Listening to that, it was the right thing to do. Not 'Faint' enough.

Same with 'Little Mix' - and so many of the other offerings, mainly mine.

I generally try to pick ones I know - from my catalogue. Unfortunately they are mostly single artists, either singers or instrumentalists, so a very limited pool to choose from.

Sorry Paul, consistency strikes, I carded Steve yesterday for a track that should have been in the "A"s so this should have been in the "F"s for the same reason!! It won't be counted!!

Level 42's gone probably my only "L" band. Put up "love Games" on the PE Jukebox, which would have been the track I selected, and enjoyed listening through the album.
What obvious one are left

I think one of the songs from the second group was a classic and worthy of an advent calendar spot.
But I'm going back in time to Little Walter and his Jukes.....classic blues in the raw.

I assume you are referring to this track but just in case I'll include a famous cover they did after:

And I believe the first group Neil highlighted were responsible for this:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!
