I quite like this:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

You might recall an artist called Midge Ure. Yes he was once in a band called Slik one of their hits being "Forever and Ever". Well back in the 1970's teen band Kenny were first to record that particular number.

I am taking a chance no-one has mentioned it before.....not a genre that well represented on the advent calendar so far, and I cant image the heavy hitters Paul and Steve will have stooped to the depths of Kenny.

So here we go...they have their 5 seconds of fame on the FCF Musical Advent Calendar largely because they begin with K. They do have worse songs in their repertoire including "The Bump" and "Fancy Pants". I'll leave you to check those out for yourselves. :-D I think they reached their peak when the band members all had white shirts with a red K on. Enjoy!

At the risk of you all deserting the advent calendar and running outside to dance somewhat recklessly in the middle of the road and/or climbing onto complete strangers cars and generally lowering the tone of the neighbourhood - I give you.......

Odd little ditty but not bad. Kevin Ayers put together a band "The Whole World" to do this album. Wonder who the bass player was?

and here they are on the Old Grey Whistle Test doing a track from it.

Have the Southend funfair band made an appearance yet?

Spooky moment there Steve, listened to the beginning of that track and immediately thought of The Hunt for Red October which made me think of Sean Connery and then James Bond. Picked up the remote to discover 007 film about to start on ITV4, amazing!! :-D

Shame they didn't continue with that - far better than what followed.

Coincidences can be weird. I'm re-reading "Cryptonomicon" having completely forgotten all but the title and there are allusions to Lithium mining, Cryptocurrency (Bitcoins) and even Coronavirus.
Among many other things that are hard to keep track of.
