Thp 270 overheating

Post by Bruno R »

Hi there,

I am experiencing a strange issue, the car at any givin random point decides to dump coolant out from the reservoir

We have performed multiple coolant pressure tests. The car holds pressure and not a single leak comes out.

Thus we cannot understand what is going on.

Can anyone shed some light on the issue, cause we are digging our head in.

Thank you very very much.

Has the coolant been tested for combustion products?

Maybe an issue with the water pump drive wheel slipping?

There are test kits available, e.g. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q ... u-hrUZ3Lxn

You can also get paper strips that you just dip into the coolant to check.
