For anyone who was intrigued by our visit to Beatles land starting now on BBC4 A Hard Days Night followed by more relevant stuff for John Lennon's 80th Birthday today!! :)

I just tried a new technique (to me) of capturing a TV image and I'm quite pleased with the result, Happy Birthday John:
Captured from TV

I watched this documentary last night.

The Beatles-Made on Merseyside. Not a quote from John, but Paul right at the start had me chuckling.
with a nice piece of dead pan sarcasm!
temp1.png
In a stuffy question and answer session the Beatles were asked
"How highly would you rate your own music :?: "
Paul......."We're not that very good musicians you know, we're adequate musicians, and we never claim to be very good musicians, We're adequate we're not very good."
"So whats the reason behind the tremendous popularity of your music :?: Do they admire your talent :?: "
Paul......"Well I don't know. Maybe they just admire adequate music you know."

Been watching a few episodes of Bangers and Cash after finding my Smart TV has an app. for UKTV Play

https://uktvplay.uktv.co.uk/shows/bange ... tch-online

A series about the adventures of classic car auctioneers Matthewsons...

The ads are not too intrusive and the episodes are quite entertaining and just the job to chill out to after a busy day...

Sarah, the lady on Bangers and Cash with the wonderful sense of humour, made me laugh out loud the other day. They were lining up a Jensen Interceptor to sell and they asked her: "What sort of man do you think would want to buy a Jensen Interceptor ?" Her answer after a bit of thought: "A man with a very small pe...." and then the camera cut away
Sadly no longer a C5 owner :(

Yes it certainly has Jim, things have been very quiet this year so it will be good to get back into it. Our visit during the September Stroll was cancelled due to lack of staffing at the site so it is good to see something happening! :-D

Remember that the Freeview channels have recently changed. "Yesterday" has moved to channel 26. Today they will have a Triumph Herald convertible on "Bangers and Cash", at 20:00.
