I wonder if anybody can help, I'm trying to locate the 'curly wurly hydraulic pipe: Part number is 5270QK, for a mk1 C5 2001.
I've tried the usual avenues... Dealer - eurocarcare - plaides - breakers.
Citroen has confirmed that production of this pipe has been discontinued.
So if anyone can help I'd be very grateful.
Who knows somebody may have one on a dusty shelf.
Mk1 C5 curly wurly pipe required.

Have had a quick search of the web, and nothing immediately showing up, as you've found.
5270QK is just a length of standard Citroen 3.5mm pipe, L=1364mm, with what look like standard end fittings - but check whether they are Cit rubber sleeve type, or bell-end.
You should be able to get one made up, and just coil (wind round something) and bend it yourself.
The usual folk will make up pipes to order: Pleiades, SGG Dunsfold, Citroen Classics (Staines)...

Thank for getting back to me I appreciate the help.
Whilst I'm on the subject... Does anybody know why the hydraulic pipe is spiralled? I've come up with my own theory's but have been unable to validate.
There's obviously a reason for it, but could I replace the 'curly wurly pipe with a strait one?

The spiralled pipes, as I understand it, take that form because one end is mounted to something rigid and the other to something that moves. Think of it as a cushioning spring. Without it it will fracture over time.

I know of somebody who used a coke can when they needed to create a 'spring' pipe, and it was still working well five years later. They measured off enough pipe for five turns around the can, and were careful not to kink the pipe.
