That BSA three wheeler is very rare. I nearly got run over by one when they first started the MOT testing.

The brake testing was done by driving up the workshop and hitting the brakes whilst having a gauge sitting on the passenger floor.

I was oiling one of the floor jacks, the foreman drove up towards me and the brakes were useless, I jumped out of the way but he thought he'd hit me and got out white faced and shaking.

This is the tool.

If you like little white French Cars there is also this more conventional 1978 - Peugeot 104 berline
L’ensemble est dans un état correct mais pourra aussi nécessiter une restauration partielle.

September Classic Car Sale
Well Mrs Joan Smiths car sold for £3,740 at Matthewsons, and has been put into the September Classic Car Auctions Sale, Leamington Spa, 18 - 19 September, 2020.

Same details, new pool of buyers will it turn a profit? Probably not.

Same pictures! Image

Regards Neil
Sold this time today at Leamington Spa for £3,996.....Not the most fantastic punt, thats going to be a loss after fees/transport/time etc.

I wonder if he did just intend to take a profit or if he changed his mind after driving it? :(

Wouldn't mind a nice Humber Hawk or even better Super Snipe. Haven't seen one for ages though.

Just looked at those cars Neil, didn't realise so many of them still existed. We had a '58 Hawk and '59 and '60 Snipes, lovely cars. My wife used to work for a Rootes garage in Sevenoaks so we got them at very advantageous prices.

I take it you are referring to the Rootes Group ownership and design Peter?
