I have completed the C5 prep this morning, all fluids checked and topped up as necessary and tyres adjusted. They were about 3 psi down all round so not too bad as I've been naughty and not checked them for 6 weeks or so! All ready to go now just got to get through Mugello qualifying and maybe some Premier League football and then pack the bag ready for the off in 18 hours!! :-D
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Hope to see you soon. Keep us up to date when and where possible.

Mick, Just having a look at your time table for Matthewsons Pickering to High Force 11.15 to 12.30 I think looks very optimistic. Sutton Bank on the A170 is shut so I guess you head south down through some pretty country roads round Amplethorpe then South of Thirsk and then onto the A1 at Dishforth. You can no doubt make progress up the A1 up to Scotch Corner and then across on the A66 but hit Barnard Castle and beyond and you are on not very quick progress roads.

Thanks everyone for your good wishes. We have had a good day which went to plan except for some road closures here and there. Now in The Saddle Inn watching the GP on C4. Lots of pictures collected but I will wait until I get a chance to write a story so far and put them in then. One issue we have had was tomorrow's B & B changed our booking to an unacceptable one so we have cancelled Cara's and are staying just down tbe road at Hotel 52.
Thanks for the heads up on Sutton Bank Neil, we will amend our route accordingly!! Onwards and upwards!! :-D

Shame the camera decided to focus on the background though.
