Why would you replace wheel speed sensors and you haven’t read fault codes from the ABS system?
Your wasting your time (and money) replacing parts without checking ABS fautls.
Are the brake lights operating correctly?

Before you do any more work on the car PLEASE arrange for it to be read with a proper diagnostics tool. You will need access to a Lexia system. Fortunately there are Forum members who have such equipment and are willing to help (although, with the COVID 19 situation, this cannot happen for a while). Here is the link to find who is closest to you;

However, not all members are active, so you may have to contact a few to get a reply.

If you are referring to the encapsulated Lexia software then no, not natively. Lexia and PP2000 (for Peugeot) are separate software applications incorporated in and launched from the main Diagbox application and are written in 16 bit code which cannot run natively under a 64bit operating system. The only way to get it running on a 64 bit OS is to setup a virtual machine with a 32 bit OS, install and run it from there. BUt a VM can introduce additional problems with comms ports like USB if not configured correctly and does make troubleshooting more of a problem.

Does it communicate with everything else? If so then this may be the problem.
If everything else is talking to lexia you need to start checking power supplies to the ABS ecu.

You really won't get better than a Lexia for PSA as they are near dealer-level devices. The issue is that they have been 'modified' for Joe public and mechanics to use and are not supported by PSA as they are not supposed to be available to us - so one has to expect quirks getting them to install. The problems are usually not having a suitable laptop with the required specs or the wrong controller interface setup / or installation errors / faulty instructions.

Some systems are not activated unless the ignition is on as you've just found - you should always test it with the ignition on.

So what was the ABS faults then?

Some A/C systems even need the engine running to get communication.
