AC condenser replacement DS5

Post by uniD »

Hello everyone, nice too meet you people.
I just bought a lovely 2012 DS5 and I simply love the car. But...unfortunately it came with a problem. The AC condenser rad is leaking and I have to replace it.
Anyone had any experience changing it? I know it’s a pretty big job and I’m looking to know what’s the best option? Taking down the entire front or taking the engine off was another option that crossed my mind.
Any information would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome.

It will depend on whether you have the Hybrid traction or not as to how you proceed. If you don't have the hybrid version, then it's just the front bumper off and being able to get underneath it.

Do you have your VIN (masked automatically), as the DW10C engine was used in the Hybrid as well as non-hybrid.

Great - confirmed - non-hybrid version DW10CTED4 163 Bhp. So no engine out to do the condenser. :-D

Guys i wonder if you could help me out with a part no for the condenser? There are some “professionals” here in Ireland. Nobody knows exactly what’s the exact part and nobody has it in stock so I did some research and found this in stock, but I’m not 100% sure if it’s the right part.
