Just a quick update from the other day:
Absolute final proof of what we had accepted anyway. I received this email today:NewcastleFalcon wrote: 12 Jun 2020, 16:22Have a listen to Moths Mick....Eamonn did do this narration for Pathe.mickthemaverick wrote: 12 Jun 2020, 15:14 I can't find any mention of Eamonn Andrews working for Pathé so I'll go with Eade or possibly Bob Danvers-Walker.
No I was not referring to a Vespa![]()
A different form of transport to get you to the airport (almost!)

Re: Find the answer in the FCF..
I was looking for a vague recollection of someone building a large automotive factory in Romania and came across a delightful bit of off-topicness by Paul-R, which was preceeded by an intitial one from Steve!
I thought it must have been a contribution to one of the threads on the Off Topic Chat Lounge, but no bang in the middle of a problem solving thread on the Citroen section of the forum.
REgards Neil
Of course should Paul see this post first, he wont need to look it up!So in 2011, what was outside the Paul-R's hotel when he paid a visit to Romania

It is indeed Mick, often a points scorer for me as an answer on University Challenge
The factory I was thinking of wasn't in Romainia at all but in Komarom, Hungary built by Korean firm SK Innovation as reported on this thread
Electric Vehicle Batteries...the Race

Find the answer in the FCF..
The original purpose of this thread was to retrieve from time to time some of the good stuff from the FCF Archives which otherwise lies dormant.
Well my little google query on "frenchcarforum bots" relating to Huskyxantia's question today, produced as its first image the Milton Keynes shopping robot, but the second image was this, a very nice bit of creativity on Project Sticktiva.

Post link here if you want to "read around" it.

Re: Find the answer in the FCF..
I like stumbling across links back to things covered in the FCF threads languishing unseen by the current audience in the archives. Today's stumbling landed on the the wonderful "Citroen XM multimedia and other early IT in cars"
Yes there was a time, not so long ago, when there were zero of the fabled "lines of software" in cars, now of course in 2024 no car never leaves the showroom without at least a few million. The thread focuses on the early days of multimedia, and IT in cars. and covers to date...

FCF Archives Revisited
This thread has plenty good stuff in it, even on this currently the latest page. The slicing through the boot floor to get better access being a case in point!
Can the thread it be added to
...yes it can. A decent thread for a browse in any case. Back at the very start, a bit of an observation from page 2, and a nice picture of the Falcon Xantia No 2, in November 2010, when there was an absolute deluge of the White Stuff.

Xantia No2 November 2010 NeilNewcastleFalcon wrote: 02 Jan 2019, 21:10 ... I did discovered this pic of my Xantia from a November 2010 post in my searches. Now that was a proper beast from the East (North or whatever)
Also discovered that after that November 2010 post, my next one was March 2011 in the following year! Looks like in those days I just contributed when there was something up with the carShame on me!
