Find the answer on the FCF Q9 What is the name of the Pub described by an FCF Member as the highest and most remote pub in Southern England and where had they walked to earlier that day.
The Warren House Inn in the middle of Dartmoor, often frequented after a walk to Burgh Island. A venue where lives the Burgh Island Hotel used in the BBC series Lovejoy as the home of Tinker's sister where there was mystery to be resolved!!
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Yes Mick you are right...
This morning I replaced Ashes to Ashes with the comparitively tame Dixon of Dock Green a 1973 Episode. In order,to protect an "Eye Witness" George Dixon took her down to the place you mention beloved of Agatha Christie in his beige Austin Maxi. I will skip over to the Pickled Egg Juke box and put on a Dave Clark 5 track, also associated with that location.
I've just had a paddle around the website of our Highest Inn in Southern England, and looks like it is well worth a visit.
I reckon I would go for a Pint of Otter and one or both of these
"This includes our famous home-made 'Warreners Pie' (a rabbit feast made to the Inn's own recipe) - we cook the fresh rabbits and pick the meat from the bones.
Our home-made Steak and Ale Pies are made using local Dartmoor beef and real ale from the pump, pies are topped with our own home-made short-crust pastry."
I have already done that Neil and I would endorse the description of the pies without question. We called in there about three years ago when driving back from Plymouth to Ilfracombe. It was superb!!

Find the answer on the FCF Q10 Anyone heard of Roy Hamilton The FCF has, and within its archives you will read about a random link which indirectly inspired a tradition. What was this link.
Heres Roy with a link back to the B Side of the Z-Cars Single!

the recording of You'll never walk alone by Hamilton which found its way into the hands of one Gerry Marsden who, with his pacemakers made it the anthem to be adopted by Liverpool FC whose dockers had brought back the record in the first place
or not?

No not the restaurant in Watford Mick, but if it was named after the track, which has been covered by some of the "greats" that would be brilliant.
No simply that the music for Ebb Tide was one of Robert Maxwell's compositions as was we think Lost Patrol.
I had a listen to some of Robert Maxwell's stuff, he was a harpist of all things, and I like a bit of harp in folky and Irish stuff, but I think some of his tracks are an acquired taste....try this one...first hearing where are the earplugs, but quite possibly you could extract some enjoyment from it if you got used to it.

A TL:DR.
I was given a biography of Odette recently and read it fairly quickly, very absorbing, especially in respect of the VE75 recently.
Following that I read the biography of her compatriot, Violette Szabo. While Odette escaped relatively unscathed, Violette was not so fortunate.
Their stories are tragic in the extreme.
I looked up the film of Violette and was surprised to see PC Dixon in the cast.
Odette was on the film crew to ensure that it didn't become the typical Hollywood mess that was so common.
Well a question which springs to my mind is which means of transport recently appearing in the FCF could you have used to meet the girls at the airport?

How much will it cost each of these "lovelies" to take a scooter to the continent and back?
"The Modern Girl is never happier than when she is.......?
The Scooters are no strangers to the continent, where they are affectionately known as .....?
Voice over Eamonn Andrews possibly? what do youthink? no info on the film. All answers correct Mick.
