That'd be Brislington, and the only thing I know about Brislington is that there is an old Regional War Room tucked away there. Somewhere I've got some video of the place, but lord knows where #-o

Good effort Mick and Bobins. Still couldnt place Brislington on a map. Think I know as much about the park and ride as I will need to know but curiosity is getting the better of me. Clearly if it has and old regional war room there must be something to it. Feel free to chip in everyone we have a quest to find something interesting about Brislington :-D

A picture of Brislington Railway Station:

BFTW
"Brislington railway station was a railway station in Brislington, a suburb of Bristol, England.

The station on the Bristol and North Somerset Railway opened in 1873. It closed to passengers in 1959 and to goods traffic in 1963. The site is off Talbot Road, close to the junction with the A4 Bath Road, and is used as a scrap metal yard. Parts of the platforms remain in place, although no buildings survive."

"BRISLINGTON, a parish in the hundred of Keynsham, in the county of Somerset, 3 miles to the S.E. of Bristol. It is situated on the border of Gloucestershire, on the south bank of the river Avon, and is intersected by the Great Western railway. No remains exist of an ancient chapel dedicated to St. Anne, which was founded here at an early period. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of Bath and Wells, of the value of £170, in the patronage of E. W. L. Popham, Esq. The church is dedicated to St. Luke. The charitable endowments of the parish are worth about £12 a year. There are several seats of the gentry in the neighbourhood. Brislington House is a lunatic asylum, originally founded and conducted by Dr. Fox on an admirable system."
