Can any body offer guidance on the on going faulty sat nav it has just brought up the following message
Read error source cannot be read. It posted this message just before it crashed back in December

Could this mean it’s simply just the SD card itself that is faulty ?

Re: My way sat nav
What function was being used when the message came up?
Sat NAV? If so, then it is possible the SD card containing the map data is on the way to expiring.
You could obtain another SD card that matches the specifications of your Map card and try to see if you can clone the contents onto the new card using a PC. There is the possibility that you may have issues reading the data on the PC too - which may confirm that your original media card is dying a death.
Replacing it with a new one for the maps you require may be the solution.

Good morning
The sat nav was on at the time.
Is the best place to buy a reliable upgrade to latest maps direct from the dealer. Or are they safe to buy off e bay

You don’t purchase them from the dealer, they have a dedicated website here:
https://citroen.navigation.com/home/en_ ... enEMEA/GBP
Anything from eBay will be pirated, so I can’t comment on what you will get to be honest.
