You have done well Bobins. Without the dark arts of a google image search available I am not sure how if you don't know the album how you go from a picture to the album. I may well have posted some examples on the PE jukebox of course.

It could be but......

The setting for the cover was located at the Newhall Pass interchange of the Interstate 5 and California State Route 14 freeways near Sylmar, California that collapsed during the 1971 San Fernando earthquake.

Now that is exactly the sort of thing I like.....I don't know a single one of those gramophone records..so its going to be a delve! Of course the collective knowledge of the FCF might know some of them straight away before my delving is complete :-D

Put it this way - I own at least a couple of thousand albums, I used to spend many Sundays (and occasional Saturdays IIRC) at the Brighton records fair, and I've long enjoyed extracting clues and information from pictures :-D

I only have a couple of dozen vinyl albums left and about 200 CD's but I do have my mate in Spain who has over 15000 records in his collection and as he keeps asking me to identify cars it seemed only natural to ask him to identify some album covers for me!! He came up with all the answers which I PM'd to Neil to avoid spoiling everyone else's fun :-D Now back to sorting my choices, which I fear will be rather easy to identify as most of them are old and have the titles and artistes on the cover!! :-D

His mate ought to be able to identify at least 3 of them immediately as they aren't that obscure :)

As my album choices are so easy to identify I thought I'd put up the 9 artistes who are responsible for my choice of 9 singles to take with me. So 10 points for each song you can guess/identify
