There are 2 ECUs depending on system fitted - one has 2 connectors, the other has 3 connectors.

Hi

The part number you need for the parking Assistance ECU for front and rear according to your VIN is: 6590CZ. The new part from Citroen costs £356.10 or £415.32 with UK VAT @ 20%.

Here's a second hand one from the Netherlands as an example:

Hi, thanks. I found this one. (picture one)
I didn't figure out about third wire. (I mean 4 wire - second picture)
I have 3 in ECU for parking but this 4 I don't know where to put it.
I also have red and black wires cut off.
Are they for rear camera or ...?

Ok

So the Parking Assistance ECU with Front, Rear and Parking Space Gap Measurement sensors has three connectors.

Ordered from Right to Left:

1) An 18 pin White connector (only 8 wires are used) for the Front and Side Sensors
2) A 6 Pin Black Connector (All 6 wires used) for the Rear Parking Sensors.
3) A Black 18 Pin Connector (Only 6 wires are used) for the CAN Data network control, power supplies and earths.

Any other wiring you have - leave it and ignore it. It is not part of the parking assistance system. Sometimes there are spare wiring blocks on the harness for equipment you may not have.

Your C5 does not have a rear camera. It was not an option for this year and was only available on some later models with the RT6 (eMyWay). You have an RNEG (MyWay) that does not support a rear camera.

If you are concerned about the connector in the second photo above, loot at the wiring sheath and there will be a 4 or 5 number / letter code. Let me know what colour the wire is and what the numbers / letters are and I might be able to tell you what it is for. You may have to trace the wiring code back 10 to 50 cm back to find the code. Or if you find the codes, take a clear picture for me.

No problem - see my edit of your photo.

You may get away with not having to code the ECU - as you had this system originally on your car before the wrong ECU was installed, so hopefully the settings for a front and rear system will already be configured. If not, you'll either have to get a dealer to code it for you, or a friend with Diagbox.

Hi, pink (the biggest wire) is AL02*6230*231110
Brown is 1110 or 2101.
I am not sure about this, sorry I can read it.
I was at my friend. He has SEDRE we are looking for this strange wire but we could not fine anything.
He also have only DELFI diagnostic for coding ECU or I shoud use LEXIA?
I think that is better to give up of finding what is strange wire for.

It may be a connection for a trailer unit. 2101 is a code for a left rear brake light control - but the pink one isn't a recognisable code. So I would ignore it.

Marc, do you know can I code ECU with DELPHI software when new parking ECU will be changed?
My friend has only DELPH not LEXIA.
Thanks!

I've never used it so can't help you there as I don't know what its capabilities are. If its a professional level tool, then it may be able to perform similar functions.
