Peugeot 207 1.4i engine ECU diagram

Post by noob64 »

Hello,

I have a 2010 pug 207 1.4i. The car was doing random fail codes so after a while I found the problem that water ingress into ecu connector. My ecu is Valeo and engine code is KFT. My problem is that 2 pins from 2 connectors are rusted/almost gone.
From left to right ECU front view: connector 1 has pin F3 damaged, and middle connector A2.
I cleaned the connectors pins one by one (I took them apart) with Kontakt 60 (in the image we have F3 after cleaning).
Can someone help me with a schematic of the injection ecu ? I need to know what problems I can get if those pins get broken.

Thank you.

Donation of £10 is far cheaper than a main dealer diagnostic check. My local Peugeot dealer charges a minimum of £60 plus vat so this is a really good deal.

Ok, here you go. So you have a TU3AE5 1.4i engine.

1310 is your engine ECU, but as you can see the connectors are laid out around the ECU for the purposes of the diagram.

I can't see from your photo which connector that is and as you'd expect some of the designations will be repeated for different connectors.

Let me know if you need to know some of the wiring or hardware codes as there are too many to type up all of them.

Thank you,
Looks like corroded CMI A2 is not used so this is good, however CME F3 that is almost half its size on bottom (like in my first post picture) is used for injector 3. Having this critical pin so damaged I think I need to take it out from ECU by wire to the CME female connector specific wire.
I hope I'm not too demanding but I need to know about hardware codes: 1273, 4120, 1313, 1215, and lambdas 1352 1353 position.
LE: also please hardware codes 1312

Hi,
I found a free pin on ecu connector and moved the damaged injector pin F3 to C4 on the same plug by digging(potting) and soldering on the ecu pcb. Now it works fine. Just a remark: with this 1.4 8v petrol engine from time to time I get popping sound from exhaust while deceleration. Most of the time is happening if I rev at idle(warm engine) but I can get this also while deceleration from different speeds by fully letting go the acceleration. I checked for vacuum leaks and exhaust and found nothing, spark plugs are normally worn(4000km life) with no difference between them, also tried with new coil pack but no difference.
Is something I missed or is typically for 207 to have this "feature" ? this is odd because I found on some other forums that this popping on overrun is normal for 207 petrol engines.

Really useful wiring diagram. Can you advise which connector is the OBD2 port as I assume the OBD2 is directly reading from the ECU Also, how do I determine which plug is :-
1) CH
2) CMI
3) CME
ie the disgram shows 3 names for the connectors however its not clear how this relates to the 3 plugs on the top of the ECU ??

Keen to understand the source of the diagram ... is this some Peugeot workshop manual / application or can novices like me access such detail ?

Focus on the Code near the actual Plug:

I.e. the connector will have a code like the one at the top of the Engine ECU on the diagram above: 48V NR

This means 48 Pins (V) and Black (NR) which is French for Black.
The connector to the right shows: 32VMR, so 32 Pin and MR is brown in French

Further always focus on the Pin number codes shown on the connectors rather than the colours of the wires, as it is well known for PSA to change wiring colours - but the pin assignments are always correct (A2, F1, D1 etc.) as well as the codes printed on the wiring sleeve.

CME: External Engine Connector, CMI: Internal Engine Connector, CH: Passenger Compartment Connector.

Most of the codes for the hardware can be found on the wiki:

The application the dealers use is called SEDRE, backup copies of this and also the workshop manuals (servicebox) can be downloaded or purchased off ebay etc. Think it does models up to around 2014
