Flip Mick, you're travelling swiftly. Be careful not to pick up a virtual speeding ticket!

Bit of an issue on the A38 through Tewkesbury resulting in a rework of the purifier's plumbing but all looking good now:

but got a quick snap of Tewkesbury on the way through:

then past Gloucester:

So, fed and watered Bloodhound here I come :-D

Not a problem Paul, I've got Neil's virtual credit card from lunch on Tuesday to take care of that, but don't tell him! :-D

Watch out for virtual roadworks! There are some in Shiplake, and more in Medmenham.

Thanks for the tips James, and yes I got the license and insurance too thanks Paul, so if anyone else picks up some virtual points we can put them on there!! :-D

About to leave Bloodhound which is in hibernation at the moment due to the virus and needing to raise another £8m sponsorship to move to the next stage.
Unfortunately virtual cards won't do it for this :( but hopefully a rich benefactor will come forward soon. Here's what it looks like at the moment firstly in the desert and then back at base:

Now to find the A4 and head for Didcot :)

When you get to Henley on Thames take a virtual walk by the River Thames. You will meet up with this lovely lady;

She was there this morning, as I went past (after doing a bank call in Chesham).

Aha - Henley, Medmenham, Sonning, Caversham . . . and Binfield Heath, and the rather cosy Bottle & Glass inn. Full of Brakspear's Henley ales, and (iirc from the '60s!) scrubbed oak tables, and fillet steak in french bread sandwiches
from G.E.
from G.E.
Only a few miles up the road to Nettlebed (on the Henley-Benson road) to the cottage where George Smiley arrived (in a P6) for the glorious episode of Tinker, Tailor... to talk to Connie Sachs, played touchingly by Beryl Reid . . .

Well I've made it to the Wetherspoons Hotel in Henley, but I had a quick stroll round the river first and an ice cream in the Chocolate Cafe.@

So after a well earned pint of shandy I shall be heading home.
It has been a great trip and has truly increased my desire to make the real trip as soon as it is feasible.

Thanks to all who have chipped in along the way and especially to Neil for thinking of the idea in the first place.
Home to sofa isolation and model making for me, and maybe SWMBO will come home eventually to bring some life back into the house.
Meanwhile stay safe everyone and roll on the real trip!! :) :) :)

A brilliantly timed thread, Mick - and House Points - nay, a pint of Brakspear's and a steak sandwich - for Neil for coming up with the idea.
