That would definitely be the case had I been stupid enough to undertake the real trip. However my virtual C5 is equipped with a unilateral anti virus force field which ensures that no virus can escape from or penetrate the car's space, thus keeping me and the residents throughout the country secure from any viral dissemination. So I can safely drive into Whitby in search of a certain house!! :-D

I most certainly am!; after all the work I did on it in the summer!! However it is being supplemented by the kryptronic denebulising gas purifier which was installed in the central ashtray space, after the cigarette lighter was removed. It also has vent outlets for the connection of remote breathing masks for the benefit of rear seat passengers, should it be found necessary after lunch at The Drift Cafe. :-D

I remember a discussion about a certain family home in Whitby which I said I would try and visit to photograph, but I cannot remember where the discussion was #-o so I'm hoping for an address clue to set me on my way!! :)

Here's one for you Steve. You should know where this is. :-D

To paraphrase Monty Python......"Is this the right Yard for an Argument?"

Being logical I'll leave both of those for the real trip as we already have virtual images of them!! That will give me time to try the hover feature of the C5 and take a quick trip round the docks! :-D

Mick if you are fancying some open-toppage for your drive round and about the North York Moors today I think Derek at Mathewsons would have no objection to your taking this Jowett for a spin. Built in Yorkshire over at Bradford Road, Idle, its still available from the sale on Saturday :-D

Of course you do seem quite happy with your C5 vCar, but does it do open toppage, have a starting handle, have one of those manual squeeze and honk horns, and turn heads as you pootle along. :-D

Woke up this morning, feeling fine.........(there's a song there!!)
Looked out the window and was greeted with:
bftw
bftw
What a way to start the day!! :-D I love Yorkshire!!

Then I turned on the laptop and found Neil's suggestion about the Jowett.

Now, call me soft if you like, but I just can't be doing with starting handles and bulb horns....
However the idea of some open toppage around the moors is too good to miss so before brekkie I popped out into the yard with my angle grinder:
Spoiler: show
Own work
Own work
So look out Derek, here I come!! :-D

Arrived at Derek's place on time but was sadly met with museum closed signs due to some virus or other. However getting into the spirit of my virtual adventure Derek gave me the key to his virtual world which you can find here:

https://mathewsons.co.uk/about/virtual-tour

However I couldn't leave without naming my pick of the next auction, so here it is with a bonnet to fly for and an engine to die for:

So on to Whitby up the A169 :)
