Front upper co-driver side compartment

Post by habo »

ImageHi
Before I bought the car I had seen photos where the compartment on front upper co-driver side was open ,but when I went to buy the car ,it was closed and did not open.
I did not think about it too much , I thought I would fix it.
Years passed but I never managed to find an idea of how to open it . I even think about breaking it and replacing with a second hand one, but that would be expensive.
Any ideas what I could do?

There is a know issue with this lid and there is a technical document regarding it - but I don't have it unfortunately so I an't tell you what it contains, but if you have a Citroen dealer near you, ring them up and tell them you understand there is a "Technical Service Bulletin" with reference: C5FW0XQ0. The may or may not tell you what it involves.

Marc
I am far from any citroen dealer , as I live in a village . I am afraid that if I call them in Athens that is the closest , I will make their day now with coronovirus ,as they
never help or give advises to customers.
Thanks anyway

All vehicle manufacturers are required by U.S. law to make their TSBs available to the public.

Not here though. :(
