You’ll need the confidential customer pin code that was issued with the car at new, usually concealed on the plastic card under the scratch panel.

If you don’t have it, you can it a dealer to retrieve it for you on production of documents proving identity and car ownership for a small fee equivalent to UK £25 roughly.

You must or programme ALL the key fobs you want to use together in one session. Any not programmed at the same time will be locked out.

You can usually find the option in the Customer Options section.

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, so forgive me if I'm getting this wrong....

Are you transplanting the electronic card and immobiliser components complete into the shell on the right? If so, these new cases are are not designed for the older type - for a start, the buttons on the new case won't align with the microswitches.

If you have disconnected the battery (as in when you were changing it over), then the resynchronisation needs to take place again, but if the switches are not fitting the new case then the programming won't work.

Just go to the 1 Star reviews - there's plenty there saying it didn't work (no metal battery support, once the transponder chip was in - failed to work) etc., so I wouldn't have touched it to be honest.

I see..But its strange why it doesnt work, because I can feel that button is preset,I feel click sound inside.I have even cutted this blade which was included in package, and it can start car.Maybe signal sometimes can pass trough shell sometimes can not.

It's a possibility that the metal pins / tabs holding the battery for the remote operation are not making good contact. The plastic around where the battery goes in looks very badly machined. If this is causing misalignment of the battery then the power for the remote functions won't get through. The battery is not needed for starting the car as the transponder chip is energised by the transponder coil in the ignition barrel, so that signal is getting through.

You may need to look closely at the battery cut-out and see if the plastic round the edges of the battery socket need to be trimmed slightly. You might also try gently levering the metal contacts out a little and underneath where the battery sits to see if that will make better contact. But if the plastic around the edges is not quite the right shape, then when you put the case together, it may be pushing the battery out of place.

It's one of the issues with fakes / copies / modifications of the originals I'm afraid. You know the Chinese, they'll make copies of everything!

I bought a fake replacement Samsung TV remote for a few £s last week and although it looks genuine I knew it was a cheap copy - the buttons are more stiff and I know if I drop it, then it will probably smash into a million pieces - but for £3 I can afford to drop a few! :-D

I really can't help you with these cheap copies - best to stick with a proper one as these fakes are usually total rubbish.

Bit of a sweeping statement there Marc. I bought an uncut key for the X7 from Aliexpress and my costs were:

Remote key £8.76 and cutting of blade using existing key as a pattern £15.00 (I bargained him down from £20!)

So total cost was £23.76.

I only say that as of all the ones here I've dealt with, most are utter junk and cause no end of grief for people - when they finally get a half decent one it all works - these are not all the same - it needs the correct encryption, the correct circuitry and type of fob - so a lottery for some people.

It's bound to be the case that there will be more posts from people with problems but to use phrase like "utter junk" is not right. You're tarring all Chinese sourced parts with the same brush.

Yes, you've got to know what you're doing or, alternatively, be prepared for there be a chance that you're ordering is not correct and write the, usually small, cost off to experience.

For example, I ordered a set of switchgear for my daughter's Hyundai so she could have cruise control. I did a lot of research beforehand about the two different types available and in the end I realised that it came down to whether there was a heated steering wheel fitted or not. The cost difference - even after I had to pay import duty and Post Office "handling charge" (grr) - was significant. And well worth doing.
