Just noticed the Mazda MX5 I posted up on the good looking modern cars thread was a KURO Edition version so well qualified to appear in the Special Editions thread.

Not one I've ever come across, My ex wife had three Lada cars and that resulted in many trips to the dealer's and I never saw "abibas"!! Sounds like a chinese copy of Adidas to me!! :-D

I've only just discovered this thread, for whatever reason, so I must put up the MX5 I use in Mallorca, soon to be Spannish Mainland, which is one of 333 special edition Trilogy models produced in collaboration with De Beers diamond merchants. Each new owner was presented with a three diamond studded key fob on the new set of keys. The car is a very high level of trim and I love driving it:

Judging by how many 'Special Edition', 'Limited Edition', and other edition MX5s that Mazda churned out over the years, I think anyone who owns a plain vanilla variety that is in no way 'special' has actually got the rare one
Sadly no longer a C5 owner :(

Sir Terry Pratchett made a comment about a specific sword in his book 'Guards, guards',

"There is something very unexpected about this sword. It isn’t magical. It hasn’t got a name. When you wield it you don’t get a feeling of power, you just get blisters; you could believe it was a sword that had been used so much that it had ceased to be anything other than a quintessential sword, a long piece of metal with very sharp edges. And it hasn’t got destiny written all over it. It’s practically unique, in fact."

Sent them to my youngest, she has a slightly younger Megane C+C in dark blue/grey.
She loves both but says they would never be clean.
