I have read on some forums that its possible to add cruise control option on this car,It needs just cruise control switch. This is what I have bellow steering wheel.
You'll need a clutch switch, the double brake light switch (if not fitted) the stalk and it will need the option coding using Peugeot Planet 2000 / Diagbox if your engine ECU supports it.

Ok I have found used parts from other peugeot and citroen cars, question is should I buy switch with or without limiter option? If I buy with speed limiter will it work on this car?
Hard to say as some models had cruise only and some with both - but I've had a look at another 307 (2006) with the same engine and this has both - so should be fine.

You need the throttle pedal with the override switch in it to make the limiter function work. Post up the VIN and we can check if it's got the right one.
Richard is right - I forgot about that. You will need to replace the accelerator pedal unit. You have part 1601K7 and that is for your build date without cruise or speed limiter. You need 1601P3 for both these functions to work.

Tnx for info, here is my vin and tell me should I buy with or without limiter because it isnt important to me .. VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
I have your VIN already. There is no separate accelerator for the Speed Limiter Function only - Part 1601P3 is for either Cruise or Limiter functions combined - so you have no choice if you want cruise.

I recall when Michel and I tried to get cruise control working on a Peugeot he had. Although we could get the system to acknowledge it HAD the correct stalk (with the limit function) we could not get cruise control to work. It is highly likely that this was because the accelerator did not have the limit function (although the car DID have the secondary brake pedal switch to disconnect the CC when the pedal was pressed).

Indeed. What a palaver that was. I've since discovered it to be pointless anyway on that engine. The C3 Picasso has that engine and cruise. I used it most of the way up to Lancs on Sunday. 41.4mpg.
Didn't use it last night on the way back. When considerably faster. 45.4mpg.
