Hello!
I get no confirmation in my C5 on either mid or high position, the car raises and the pump just keeps going, even in the mid position.
I tried to look at the height sensors, the rear one seems okay. The front one i couldn't find?
Hydractive 3 No confirmation message.

The front height sensor is on the right front wheel (standing in front of the bonnet facing the windscreen) near the subframe. Not easy to get to.
It may be sending incorrect height data to the suspension ECU, so it keeps operating the pump. I suggest you don't get underneath it unless you have is supported independently - or there is a serious crush risk if it drops.
Don't keep the pump operating either - leave it in normal height position unless absolutely necessary - or you will overheat the pump, blow the fuse and cause more issues.
I had both mine replaced as it was sometimes raising other times not - would stay at normal height - but it also deactivated my directional headlamp functionality for obvious reasons. It was done under warranty by the dealer as the subframe needed to be loosened several centimetres - wheels off to get to.

Is this something i can check with lexia?
Also, if both height sensors are intact, what could otherwise be the problem.

Re: Hydractive 3 No confirmation message.
What Diagbox will do is will show you the heights as you change position - you should see reference positions against actual if memory serves. But the height correctors are analogue devices, without an ECU incorporated directly - they just send the track data to the suspension ECU. If they were given off the scale readings the suspension ECU would log the data as invalid - but all the time the data is within acceptable ranges form low to highest, it may not throw a fault.
Best thing is to run a global test, then go into the suspension ECU (Suspension_ECOTECH) and then select some of the standard parameters and see what you get.

You should have an option for 'Standard parameters' from there it should give you standard tests you can pick from to test the various components.

I only see a bunch of information.GiveMeABreak wrote: ↑16 Jan 2020, 20:27 You should have an option for 'Standard parameters' from there it should give you standard tests you can pick from to test the various components.
Do you mean the actuator section?
Also when in lexia, "economy mode" popped up in my screens in the car, what does it mean?

Re: Hydractive 3 No confirmation message.
Economy mode means that your battery is low and the BSI (main computer) has switched off power to the accessories. Start the engine and let it tick over whilst running suspension tests (which you will need to do anyway or the car won't raise or lower on command with the engine off).
In the actuator tests section, if you select this then you should see tests for raising or lowering the front or rear that you can check.
