In a word Yes, I'd love one!
In another word, I didn't get one!! I was outbid excessively even before I got to bid :o The selling price was £6105.00 !!! Unbelievable for an old Renault, but then, it isn't any old Renault :!: :!: :-D
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Thats a shame Mick, I could have claimed a "finders fee" for that one :-D Wonder if the successful bidder was an avid viewer of "Classics under £10K"?.

I've never taken to the Jensens, something about the 'bulky' back end puts me off. As for the escort, been there done that!! May have a look at the Xantia posted earlier, but I really should stick with autos!! :)

That has to win an award for the Most Plasticky Interior, surely?
And a not very subtle parts-bin mix of cream and black. :(

For a proper bit of plastic in a nice caramac colour you cant beat a 1984 Triumph Acclaim, of course with the mandatory Feu Orange dangling from the rear view mirror.

One problem if you do happen to buy what is an increasingly rare original now....the liquid may have turned to gel given the passage of time.

Anglia Car Auctions sale on 25th of this month...
...a black 1985 Citroen CX 25 GTi Turbo has just popped up in the catalogue

https://angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic ... gti-turbo/
Image
One vehicle which is likely to have off the shelf kits for converting to electric is the old VW Beetle.
Couple up for sale at the auction

I do like the Karmann Ghia nice example here, not my favourite colour but very presentable.

Is a French car ownership history complete without a 2CV? Choice of 2 at 25th January from round the £4,000 mark at Anglia Car Auctions sale. Someone will buy them.....
