C5 Tailgate Problem

Can anyone please give me the part number for the anti pinch sensor for the electric tailgate 2010 C5 tourer exclusive Tailgate openes will not close Lexus showing Fault R/H anti pinch sensor

I'll need your VIN - these are not sensors as such, they are built into the trim / seals. Before doing that though, I suspect you may have a wiring issue - it is known that these can cause issues at the area where the wiring enters the top of the tailgate. I'll try and locate a similar post.

Could be a wiring problem, will need to check in a few days as car is at the local garage having a new ERG fitted.

Hi, sorry for the delay in replying but problem solved! New ERG fitted faults re set tailgate now OK!!
