Nice bit of significant milaging.

I finished the day off with a visit to the scrapyard and a shopping trip to Morrisons :-D

Tonight is a TV gem of course back to normal with Only Connect followed by University Challenge now that the althletics has moved aside!

Not a significant milage declaration, but just a genuine pleasurable moment for the number noticer.

You'd have liked my gas and electric meters a couple of years ago.

12345 and 19876

Complete coincidence; I hadn't been out a few days earlier, then stalking them hoping for the right moment

Youngest daughter's Megane.
Done 20,000 in it in the just over a year she has had it, and she was away in Ethiopia for six weeks of that time, helping with the plane crash.

She is working currently and the workload increasing - she's an embalmer for a funeral director but has other duties she fills when not embalming.

Dave....the significant milage moment in terms of place time circumstances or whether you engineered it to be in an interesting location or just ASDA carpark can add that extra flavour.

but in any case, Have a mobile crane on me, a Volvo FH 540 10X4 PALFINGER PK 200002. Sure you'll find a use for it :-D

Not that significant but filled it up today, first time since March 22nd. 708 miles covered since then, although I suspect my son has sneakily added fuel in the meantime as we usually get around 450~500 miles out of a tank full.

Final mileage of the C5, taken outside the scrapyard. Rubbish photo, wheel was upside town restricting access to the binnacle, light was crap too.

And that mileage 237842

Well the best commemorative picture I have come up with is a US Patent from February 15th 1881 for

The Sulky Plow

Patent Number 237,842
