The C5 X7 and the C6 share the same running gear / suspension geometry. There may be some small differences in parts though.

hi Marc, both bushes I bought (same as https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/x2-Suspensio ... SwTeRekaGQ) have a white spacer on, but on the car, only one (of the two bushes) on each side has a spacer.. any thoughts?

For what it's worth, after removing both struts, I cant find any excessive play anywhere ..

Hmm... that's interesting John - the bushes are identical for each side (11) in the previous diagrams, so not sure on this one.

hmm.. thanks Marc.

I wonder if the MOT tester has mistaken movement for just soft bushes (they do have some travel to do, from fully high to fully low) I guess I will replace them as everything is off. Annoying though, was hoping to find a major slackness

I only bought a pair last August, but thought I had 4. I will need a few days for the new ones to arrive for the Offside

chaps, I have put car back together.. followed the battery reconnect.. added 1L of LDS.. when I start it, nothing happens to the suspension.. I have waited as long as I dare but had to disconnect the battery as was panicking..

I read that I may need to put 0.5 Bar into the tank, but I may not, also>?

for reference, both front spheres were removed, and some leakage occurred in the weeks while the struts were off the car.

I can see the fluid but it's slightly below min, even with car on low.. Have to wait for more fluid before I go any further, but then will try again.

No, don't risk it John.

You should barely see any fluid on the lowest suspension setting anyway, as if measured when the system is full depressurised, it should only be between the min and max.

I'm trying to look for the specification sheets John - and why is one called this and the other LDS specifically?

According to Comma's website they are separately listed products:

If you look at the list in the link above, LDS is listed as one product and specifically states "LDS Fluid is a synthetic formulation that may be used in all applications that currently required PSA S71 2710 in certain Peugeot, Citroen and DS models."

The other MVCHF is a separate product and does not state the same use on the product description as the LDS, so I wouldn't risk it.

weirdly , ECP recommend CHF 11S - GREEN - 1 ltr for me..when I enter my reg.

https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/chf-11s- ... -522773012

and that comma MVCHF oil says
'Recommended by Comma for applications requiring: CHF11S* and CHF202*'

:?

gave the car another try, and this time what was in the Reservoir dropped, suggesting the hydraulics were about to start working.. didn't like the pump sound so switched off again..

ECP have a nickname that was coined by citronut (RIP); Euro Crap Parts. People who know about them avoid them.

I just find it odd that Comma have Both these products listed on their website and if they are the same, why?.....

...and I totally agree with robin, anything from ECP has to be viewed with absolute suspicion in my personal opinion as the evidence of poor, DOA, wrong, broken, incorrect parts on this forum alone from many members is having used them is alarming.
