Excellent a well deserved Number 2 on the list! If you popped over to interesting/awful campers the theme was spawned by my spotting of a Cherokee in Northumberland!

A bit of a non-video, but the song is from the utterly glorious album - 24 Years Of Hunger. I don't know whether to be astonished or horrified, but I bought the album 28 years ago. Apparently time flies.... etc, etc. :yikes: :eek1:

What with the Quantum Jump record, and now the Haysi Fantayzee record, there's a bit of a hidden theme going on

BTW, extra points for anyone (basically, Neil.... ) who can get the tenuous link between Eg & Alice and Haysi Fantayzee. :)

...and the coup de grace for our theme, Now how many people are as surprised as me to know that Burt Bacharach wrote the tune for this.

Thanks for joining in folks

Your knowledge of the late 70s/early 80s London-centric New Romantic scene is very impressive, Neil. :) It's almost as if you were part of it. Are the rumours true that it was actually you driving the 'dozer in Bowie's Ashes To Ashes video ? :-D
