Odd coincidence but I stared reading a book about a secret bunker a couple of days ago.
Possibly the same one.

What's the book, please ? I'd be interested to know :)

The Secret Bunker Trilogy: 1. Darkness Falls (Paul Teague)
It's a free Kindle book - up to now not very good and may be one of the very few books I have given up on.

His book was 'inspired' by a visit to the Anstruther bunker in Scotland. Tha Anstruther bunker was built in the same 'series' as the Hack Green bunker in that they are both ROTOR bunkers - Anstruther an R3 and Hack Green an R6.
Sadly no longer a C5 owner :(

Yep, couldn't remember where the bunker was other than in Scotland
Haven't got very far with it, it's rather tedious - up to now anyway.

I saw this sign in Dublin zoo today. As an aside I was talking to two girls from Yorkshire, one in particular was mid 20's, English rose type, beautiful, great figure and very friendly. for a second I was in love. Then I realized I am mid 50's, had a heart attack, diabetic, fat, balding and I had a wife and grandchild with me. Damn ageing, Still it's nice to dream and feel alive....

Mate you would have had to have seen her, she was in a skirt and blouse, I saw her derriere first, then looked her over. Great smile, dark blonde hair, good chest 5'4" ish. She either didn't know how good looking she is or she doesn't put much store on looks.
No women like that when I was younger and any that were half decent looking wouldn't pee on me if I was on fire never mind engaging in a conversation in a zoo!

Gibbo spotted this 10 photos to the right of a Flickr Gallery of Ipswich Co-op Vehicles.

I have heard of the Berkshire variety but this one is in Suffolk

An unusual spot today got me wondering how many out of 100 drivers would know what an adverse camber was. Of course cyclists have a special sign of their own

We have a few roundabouts here with adverse camber: the road surface slopes outwards and downwards as you go round. This is particularly hazardous at the first shower of rain in October (after 5-6 months' of dry summer) as the water sits on tarmac containing months of spilled diesel. It takes several days for the skid-pan effect to wear off. Highways maintenance, normally rather good, seem to ignore it.

ADVERSE CAMBER looks ripe for an anagram, Neil.

Well I've put a small amount of creativity into this. Success obviously would be that whenever an FCF member sees an adverse camber sign from now on they subconsciously translate it to Vader's Embrace! :-D

That international sign's always amused me - but never knew what it meant. Then again, never understood the purpose of "Adverse camber" notices because I still don't know how you should adjust your driving on receipt of the information.

These 2, randomly hanging on a fence at the Torbay Steam Fair this weekend:-
"If you are looking for a sign,
this is it"

& the one that perhaps ought to be a T-shirt: "What I fear most, is that when I die, my wife will sell my tractors for what I told her they cost"

Following on from Gibbos pub spot I noticed the shop behind my XM's demise:
